These days my eyes are full of glorious floating clouds.
My hands are full of bread dough
and home made yoghurt.
And my heart is full of these words by the beautiful Thich Nhat Hanh,
"When we walk like (we are rushing), we print anxiety and sorrow on the earth. We have to walk in a way that we only print peace and serenity on the earth... Be aware of the contact between your feet and the earth. Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet." I love that man.
My goal lately is to be present and open to the beauty in every moment. While I am writing this, my neighbour is standing in a field of sunshine brushing her horse. Brushing the horse might be a chore, or it might be a straight road to peace and joy. I want to get to the place where joy enters even while I'm washing the dishes and sweeping the floor. I managed it this weekend, and I don't know when I last felt so content.
I hope your heart felt joy this weekend too x
