“To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go”
- Mary Oliver
Reading this almost made me cry, so I knew I had to share it with you. Sometimes I feel such deep compassion and sorrow for us as humans. We are all so small and yet the human spirit is so vast, so immeasurable. As Elizabeth Lesser says we are, "both animal and angel. Animals need the solid ground beneath them; angels long for flight; humans are caught in the middle . . . I am a grounded angel! No wonder I get so confused."
Wherever you are in the world today, I send you love and admiration for all that you do, and all that you are, right now in this perfectly beautiful and ordinary moment x x
